Copyright Licencing for all BOPLASS Councils

Since all material published by members of the print media is protected by copyright, councils are required to hold a copyright licence in order to utilise articles appearing in newspapers and magazines. The Print Media Copyright Association (PMCA) exists to ensure that copyright is respected and its value is appropriately recognised. 

BOPLASS councils recently established a collective agreement for the renewal of individual licenses with PMCA, which has provided discounted rates for all councils and ensured all councils are licensed to the same level.
